Version: Post Wave-arc, and his 'death' at the hands of Kakashi.

Gender: Male. No, really.
Sexuality: Uninterested, currently. Zabuza was his everything.
Appearance: Standing at 5'1" in height, Haku is probably the most effeminate boy you'll ever have the fortune to meet. He looks like a girl, he knows he looks like a girl, and he purposely does so. His hair is long, falling to his shoulder blades when worn down, and is a dark brown, almost black color. When worn up, Haku pulls his hair back into a bun, complete with a pair of chopsticks that are connected at one end. No matter how he wears his hair, his bangs, which are the same length as the rest of his hair, are worn down. The only thing that changes is that when he wears his hair up, he binds his bangs to keep them under control. Haku's eyes are a warm brown, and is complexion is unmarred by scars, despite his chosen occupation. His chosen style to dress is something that seems to be more reminiscent of traditional Japanese clothing. He dons a dark olive green turtle neck with matching pants that extend as far as halfway down his calf. Over this he wears a turquoise happi coat that has a belt of the same green as his shirt and shorts. On his forehead, Haku's hitae-ate, or forehead protector, can usually be seen, bearing the four squiggles of Kirigakure no Sato. Haku prefers flip flops to any other kind of shoe, and both his fingernails and his toenails are painted the same shade of turquoise as his happi. Haku also has a mask, but it was broken in the fight with Naruto and didn't make the journey to Paixao with him.
Personality: According to Momochi Zabuza, Haku is innocent and pure, and he carries it like a cloak around him. He's a very friendly sort, often smiling, but he is very capable of becoming the perfect shinobi as necessary, ruthless and uncaring. The idea of needless deaths saddens Haku, but he is willing to do anything to protect his precious person, even kill. However, without his precious person, he becomes lost and has no direction.
Abilities/Weaponry: Kekkei Genkai--A bloodline limit, or trait inherent to members of a specific family, Haku's Kekkei Genkai revolves around the ability to manipulate water and ice. This mastery is apparent in his ability to create senbon out of water, and create mirrors from ice, as well as a general manipulation of water. This also lends to his ability to make hand seals with only one hand, as the jutsus that Haku knows are all water based.

Demonic Ice Mirrors--An extension of Haku's Kekkei Genkai, the Demonic Ice Mirrors are just that, mirrors made of ice. When using them, Haku exists within the mirrors and is able to move from one to another in the blink of an eye. Because of his speed, the jutsu is thought to be unbeatable. However, Naruto, with the assistance of Kyuubi's chakra, has managed to break it, and Sasuke has been able to keep up with his speed.

Medical Knowledge--Haku is very knowledgeable in the way the human body works, and as such knows exactly where to hit to kill someone. He has been known to use this skill to fake the death of Zabuza, and also to injure without permanently damaging the enemy. He also knows a little bit of healing, but not much.

Weaknesses: Momochi Zabuza--Strange as this may seem, Zabuza is Haku's greatest weakness, or should I say the lack of Zabuza is. Haku has, for the longest time, considered Zabuza to be his precious person, and was very willing to act as the older shinobi's tool. However, without Zabuza, Haku is lost, uncertain, and rather susceptible to sweet words and promises, of the right kind. He was almost completely dependent on the older shinobi, at least on an emotional and psychological level, and without him, Haku feels like he has no purpose in life. His strengths are thus rendered almost completely useless, as he has no will to use them.

History: As a child of Mist Country, Haku lived a happy life, right up to the point where his father found out that he and his mother had a Kekkei Genkai. In the Mist, Kekkei Genkai were a thing to be hated and feared, and when Haku's father found out, he proceeded to kill his wife. The man then turned on Haku, and in his fright, the young boy killed his father. After fleeing the village, he would eventually find himself in the slums of some city, which was where Zabuza found him. The shinobi promised to take Haku away in exchange for the young boy becoming his tool.

During his time with Zabuza, Haku was trained as not only a shinobi, but also a Hunter-nin, a shinobi who tracks down nuke-nin(missing-nin) and kills them, disposing of their bodies so that no other village may gain the jutsus of the nuke-nin's home village. After a failed attempt on the life of the Mizukage, Zabuza fled Kirigakure no Sato, taking Haku with him. The pair ended up working for a man named Gatou and were contracted to kill a bridge-builder by the name of Tazuna. This brought the pair into contact with Team 7 twice, though Haku has met Naruto a total of three times , having come across the Leaf-nin in a field by himself. The first time was on the road outside of Tazuna's village, where Haku 'killed' Zabuza temporarily in order to get the older shinobi away from Kakashi before the Leaf jounin could kill him. The second time was on the bridge, where Haku engaged Sasuke in battle. Haku used his Ice Mirrors to entrap the Uchiha, but the mirrors were eventually destroyed by a Kyuubi-fueled Naruto, after the Leaf-nin believed Sasuke to be dead.

Having been defeated, Haku asked Naruto to kill him. After all, what use is a tool that cannot complete its job? Naruto refused, and Haku, sensing that Zabuza was in danger, went to go protect the older shinobi. He got Kakashi's Raikiri right through the heart, and that was the last thing he remembered before Paixao...
